Job summary

Hologic, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and calibrate mammography and imaging products at customer sites.

You will travel to sites, perform PMs, repairs, and software updates, and ensure high performance with minimal downtime. You will build strong customer relationships, document work, train customers on basic operation, and collaborate with sales teams to promote service agreements.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in electronics, computer science or related technical discipline.
• 0-2 years experience in a field service position working with x-ray or imaging equipment preferred.
• Strong computer literacy with DOS/Windows and UNIX-like OS.

Responsibilities

• Install and service Hologic products (mammography, digital mammography, bone densitometry, mini c-arms) including electrical, mechanical and software components.
• Establish and maintain high customer satisfaction with products, support and service.
• Complete remedial service actions, system checks, and hardware/software upgrades per policies.
• Train customers on basic operation and use of Hologic products.
• Provide feedback to management on performance issues and service improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist in documenting service activities.
