A technical services provider seeks a Field Service Engineer I, II, or III in Central Florida. This role involves technical support and maintenance of X-Ray and medical imaging equipment, requiring travel to client locations. Responsibilities

  • Rotate through an on-call schedule for after hour customer service calls.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer I, II or III (Depending on Experience)
Reports To: VP of National Field Service and Area Field Service Manager
Location: Central Florida w/ Travel to Customers and Key Accounts
Job Overview:

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support and maintenance for X-Ray (Hologic Mammo), Medical Imagery equipment, CT, MRI, Etc. The job involves traveling to client locations to install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, as well as conducting regular maintenance checks. Field Service Engineers often work closely with other departments, such as sales and product development, to enhance overall customer satisfaction and contribute to the success of the organization. All travel will be within a 1-1.5 Hour Radius, depending on where in Central Florida this hire is located.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide service, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various modalities of medical imaging equipment.
  • Complete preventative maintenance (PM) and quality assurance (QA) inspections.
  • Manage and understand PMI’s service software policies and procedures.
  • Complete internal and external documentation in a timely fashion.
  • Complete / comply with vendor online or in person training.
  • Keeps all service access keys up to date and current.
  • Maintain service tools / meters to manufacturers specifications for equipment testing.
  • Maintain and keep stock of critical replacement items for consumable customer parts.
  • Assist and communicate with the ASM to identify critical customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with and liaise between PMI departments and customers.
  • Represent PMI's core values as the backbone of our business.
  • Rotate through an on-call schedule for after hour customer service calls.
  • May need to drive a company or rented truck to deliver and or de-install customer equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working conditions
