Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Field Service Engineer – HW to perform preventive maintenance on Linear Accelerators and imaging systems in the Raleigh, NC area. The role requires after-hours support, strong customer relations, and adherence to vendor credentialing and safety standards.

You will manage a regional schedule, escalate complex incidents, and handle administrative tasks such as work orders and expense reporting.

Qualifications

• HS Degree or Equivalent Preferred; Vocational training or military electronics experience valued.
• Strong time management and communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to read technical documentation and use electronic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Linear Accelerators and medical equipment outside of normal hours.
• Manage daily/weekly schedule to cover service region efficiently.
• Elevate incidents when needed and involve senior staff.
• Complete field service work orders and expense reports; manage parts and documentation.
• Communicate follow-up actions to assigned representative.
