Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Salt Lake City, Utah, to perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment within hospital systems. The role supports a 2nd shift schedule (typically 12 noon–9 pm) with on-site duties and on-call responsibilities.

The candidate should hold an engineering degree or equivalent military education, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to work after hours or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent military education.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid Driver's License and after-hours availability.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment.
• Maintain relationships with customers and communicate effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Follow hospital protocols and document all work and parts used.
