Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Field Service Representative to support Varian Medical Systems equipment across the San Francisco Bay Area. This field-based role requires on-site work at multiple local customer locations, with remote coordination to ensure minimal downtime.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade medical imaging and related systems, while maintaining strong customer communication, adhering to vendor credentialing, and following company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum: HS Degree or Equivalent; Preferred: Associate degree, technical /vocational training or military electronics experience.
• 2 - 5 years of related experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on electronic/electro-mechanical equipment.
• Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements to gain client site access.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair designated VMS equipment within service territory.
• Manage time and schedule for preventive maintenance and installations.
• Elevate incidents when necessary and request assistance from senior staff.
• Diagnose difficult issues and resolve to meet FSR levels.
• Complete field service and expense reports and manage documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
