Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Field Service Engineering Tech (FSET) to provide onsite and remote technical support for Surgical Devices across assigned regions. You will install, troubleshoot and repair Zimmer Biomet systems, participate in complaint investigations, and serve as a critical link between customers and Zimmer Biomet in high-pressure settings.

The role requires travel up to 80 percent, PM/CM scheduling at customer sites, and collaboration with Quality and R&D to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred; AAS considered.
• 2-4 years in field support, engineering or customer-facing role.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites to perform installations, troubleshooting and field repair.
• Schedule Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) at customer sites.
• Assess problems and determine next steps in high-pressure situations.
• Liaise with customers on product performance and service updates.
• Provide on-site support for demonstrations and regional training.
