Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a Field Service Engineering Technician (FSET) to provide highly visible onsite and remote technical support for Surgical Devices. You will handle, maintain, install and support devices, and participate in complaint investigations with on-site Zimmer Biomet representatives in the operating room.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred; AAS considered.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• 2–4 years of field support, engineering, or other customer-facing experience, preferably with a medical device company.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites to install Zimmer Biomet systems and perform troubleshooting, upgrades, and field repairs.
• Schedule and conduct Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) at customer sites.
• Assess technical problems and determine next steps in high-pressure situations; escalate as needed.
• Act as liaison between Zimmer Biomet and customers regarding product performance.
• Provide on-site demonstrations and educational initiatives to build regional and national market awareness.
