Job summary

Neuronetics seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair NeuroStar systems across a regional territory. You will perform advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, electronic, and software components and manage preventive maintenance schedules.

The role requires strong documentation, travel readiness, and collaboration with Field Service leadership. Experience with complex electromechanical medical devices and FDA/ISO compliance awareness is preferred.

Qualifications

• AS in Technology or equivalent.
• 5-7 years’ experience servicing complex, software-based, electromechanical devices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, maintain, and repair the NeuroStar systems in your territory.
• Provide in-depth mechanical, electronic, and software troubleshooting.
• Handle service dispatches: phone and on-site support to minimize downtime.
• Develop a Preventive Maintenance schedule and perform inspections.
• Create and maintain a service schedule for your territory.
• Input all service data into the department database with accuracy.
• Forecast logistics and ensure safe storage of field stock.
• Track expenses and seek opportunities to reduce field service costs.
• Support instrument development and communicate issues to Field Service leadership.
• Identify product quality issues and participate in root cause analyses.
