Job summary

BD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Pyxis automated dispensing systems across the Wilmington, NC region. The role requires troubleshooting and repairing hardware/software, with travel up to 25% and potential overnight stays.

A valid driver's license is required and travel to customer locations within the territory is expected. Successful candidates will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Global Customer Service, maintain relationships with customers, and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of hardware, software and IT support experience.
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, customer service and documentation abilities.
May require eligibility for access to sensitive facilities or security clearances.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems.
Respond to and resolve work orders within service-level expectations.
Diagnose and repair hardware and software components with full case ownership.
Troubleshoot complex issues independently and escalate as needed.
Maintain accurate service documentation including expenses and time logs.
Support deployments and customer experience with Sales and Implementation teams.
Follow service procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
