Job summary
Volvo Penta North America is seeking a seasoned Field Service Technician to support a defined US territory, from southern Maine to Connecticut. The role is field-based, travels up to 50%, and involves repair, overhaul, and installation of marine and industrial products.

Qualifications
- Eight years of experience in engine OEM, distributor, or dealer service environments.
- Expertise with industrial and marine engine systems, diagnostics, controls, and repair.
- Proficiency with warranty processes and dealer operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical resource and escalation point for complex applications and repair issues.
- Respond to advanced technical inquiries by phone, case management, and on-site service.
- Collaborate with dealer base, customers, technical support and quality teams.
- Lead investigations into product complaints and safety incidents; drive resolutions.
- Promote continuous improvement in field service activities and feedback loops.
