Job summary

SPT Labtech Ltd in the United States seeks a self-motivated Field Service Engineer based near Phoenix, AZ to support servicing a broad portfolio. You will manage your time, coordinate emergency and preventive maintenance, and provide strong customer-facing support.

The role requires travel, including overnight stays, with responsibilities across the Southwest; occasional coverage for other US regions and training trips to Cambridge. On-site installations and diverse product support awaits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Experience in electro-mechanical troubleshooting, preferably in pharma/healthcare.
• Willingness to travel and work remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform on-site installations and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct emergency service visits within territory.
• Provide remote telephone support to customers.
• Travel on short notice to cover other regions when needed.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate product quality issues to the appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with Sales and Field Applications Specialists.
• Identify post-instrument sales, upgrades and consumables.
