Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to travel and provide on-site repair, installation, and technical support for Roche product lines. You will service laboratory customers in your territory and diagnose complex hardware, software, and system failures to maximize uptime.

This field-based role requires significant travel, including overnight stays, with a Wyoming focus. The ideal candidate has extensive electronics and IT knowledge, plus a strong customer-relations mindset and RD

Qualifications

High school diploma plus 2 years of technical school or equivalent military/work training.
5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience.
Mandatory RD Services training/certification.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites for on-site repair and install Roche products.
Provide routine technical support and preventative maintenance.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
Document activities and contribute to quality improvements.
Maintain strong customer relationships and be available for after-hours support.
