Job summary

Vision RT seeks a proactive Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and support SGRT solutions across the US. You will provide remote and on-site technical support, ensuring systems operate effectively and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This role requires extensive travel throughout the territory, with some support for other regions as needed. Base location is in Virginia/Washington DC, and overnight travel is common.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and configuration.
• Experience diagnosing software, OS and hardware issues in customer environments.
• Solid networking understanding including IP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP and firewalls.
• Excellent communication and a strong customer-service focus.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of time and work independently.
• Ability to manage priorities across multiple customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission, support, and maintain Vision RT products at customer sites.
• Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and readiness.
• Deliver remote and on-site technical support, diagnosing issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance, upgrades, and product enhancements.
• Configure Windows-based systems and devices; troubleshoot networks.
• Maintain service documentation and customer activity logs.
• Travel to customer sites, support training, and respond to requests as needed.
• Ensure safety and quality standards during installations and maintenance.
