Job summary

Jekson Vision on-site service engineers are responsible for installing and commissioning equipment at customer sites, diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth operation.

They execute projects per scope and timelines, manage RMAs, ensure pre-installation and installation checklists, and support FAT/SAT and customer acceptance processes while maintaining comprehensive service records and planning AMC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site customer visits for machine installation, commissioning, and technical support
• Resolve all technical and non-technical issues at customer sites in a timely manner
• Conduct discussions with customers to understand issues and ensure complete resolution
• Provide solutions for software and hardware issues in consultation with Software, Embedded, and CCD/Vision teams
• Coordinate with internal technical and software teams to identify and remove system bugs
• Execute projects as per approved scope, layouts, and timelines
• Coordinate with sales and project coordination teams to resolve supply, delivery, and material issues
• Manage RMAs in coordination with CCD, Sales, and Dispatch teams, ensuring proper handling of returnable and non-returnable materials
• Maintain synchronization of project and service records for future reference
• Maintain a complete pre-installation checklist and detailed installation checklists for all customer sites
• Share installation and checklist documentation with Sales and CCD teams
• Support FAT, SAT, and customer acceptance processes
• Ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP standards
• Conduct regular training programs at customer sites to educate users on Jekson Vision systems
• Maintain proper training documentation and ensure efficient record storage
• Perform regular customer audits to assess system performance and working status
• Provide recommendations for system upgrades or improvements when required
• Prepare detailed service reports and issue-wise MOM (Minutes of Meeting)
• Maintain complete service history, machine performance data, and documentation
• Plan Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for out-of-warranty systems in consultation with the sales team
