Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking Field Service Technicians in Maryland to install, train, and support customers on-site for corrugating and finishing equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure operating performance.

The role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, PLC controls knowledge, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Excellent communication with customer plant personnel is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electrical disciplines and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read complex electrical schematics and diagrams for machinery installation.
• Strong PLC-based controls understanding and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving.
• Extensive travel domestically and internationally required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical assistance for service and repair of corrugating and finishing equipment.
• Lead or participate in installation of machinery at customer sites.
• Provide training on operation and maintenance to end-users of SUN equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex field service issues and own solutions per company standards.
• Travel extensively to support customer plant operations.
