H. T. PROF Group in Erlanger, KY is seeking a full-time electrical/automation field service engineer to troubleshoot and maintain automated printing equipment across North America. The role combines office work at the Erlanger site with frequent travel to customer sites and occasional international travel for training.

You will diagnose electrical, control, and mechanical issues, install and start‑up machinery, and provide on‑site and remote support while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field service experience.
• Experience with electrical systems and industrial automation preferred.
• Willingness to travel across North America and occasional international travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with clients and contractors.
• Test, maintain, and repair electrical systems and automated machinery.
• Install, debug, and start‑up printing machines; provide on‑site training.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC/HMI code and control panel layouts.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to electrical, control, and mechanical systems.
• Prepare technical reports, service records, and recommended solutions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols on-site and in-house.
• Communicate updates to technical and non‑technical personnel.
