Job summary

The Field Service Technician delivers installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, repairs, audits, and training at customer sites, while traveling extensively to support modernization projects.

A qualified candidate will be self-motivated, professional, and able to perform in time-pressured environments with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics is desired.
• Minimum of five years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical machines in the field.
• Travel up to 80%, including overnights as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service at customer sites: install, commission, repair, maintain and train.
• Modify mechanical and electrical systems including PLC programs and servo drive configuration.
• Conduct site meetings to explain scope and work completed.
• Provide customer training on operations, function, and maintenance.
• Document service activities timely and accurately.
• Travel to customer sites for scheduled services and upgrades.
