Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a seasoned field service engineer in LaGrange, Georgia to commission and startup equipment at customer sites and deliver hands-on PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting. Qualifications

5+ years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance, commissioning, or field service.
Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience with automation, controls, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Strong customer-facing communication skills.
Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

Commission and start up new equipment at customer sites.
Troubleshoot and service existing industrial machinery.
Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
Provide technical support both onsite and remotely.
Train customers and support personnel on equipment operation.
Complete service documentation and reports.
Identify equipment upgrades and service opportunities.
