Job summary

Alliance Machine Systems International, LLC is seeking a seasoned Field Service Engineer to provide installation, maintenance and customer support for our machinery portfolio. You will train customer personnel and coordinate on-site service visits, with substantial travel.

The role requires strong PLC/HMI knowledge, electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and excellent communication. A technical degree is preferred and relocation/travel flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school or GED with technical focus.
• Associates or Bachelors in technical field preferred.
• 5-7 years supervising, installing and maintaining material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for service, installation, and training; travel ~75%.
• Install and service equipment interfacing with production lines; perform system audits and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot startup and design problems; program PLC/HMI with help from Engineering.
• Manage on-site installation and training schedules; be the single point of contact.
• Document all processes; provide acceptance testing and reporting.
• Train Field Technicians and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Provide customer phone support and participate in after-hours call program.
