Voith Group in York, PA, is seeking an Engineer II, Field Service to plan and manage field service scope of projects within budget and time constraints. The role requires coordinating with project teams, understanding turbine/generator equipment, and ensuring regulatory compliance across sites.

Responsibilities include developing execution plans, managing budgets, preparing specifications, and providing technical support to field sites while traveling to project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• University diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with turbines, generators and balance of plant equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, schedules and budgets.
• Project management experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Planning and managing field service scope of projects within budget and schedule.
• Develops concepts, execution plans and cost estimates for field service scope of proposals.
• Understands technical requirements and legal/regional regulations.
• Ensures availability of information; participates in site assessments.
• Facilitates clarifications with customers and evaluates bids.
• Prepares specifications for purchased services and supplies.
• Monitors quality, schedule and costs; supports project managers and site managers.
• Provides technical support to field sites and ensures safety and compliance.
