Job summary

Lam Research in Phoenix seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and repair our advanced semiconductor equipment on customer sites. You will troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems, perform start-ups, and ensure operational excellence while working on-site and occasionally remotely.

You will travel domestically and internationally, read schematics, and coordinate with customers and internal teams to deliver rapid, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related field experience, or advanced degree with no experience.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/start-up services of Lam equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform diagnostics, isolate problems, and minimize downtime.
• Maintain records and coordinate activities between Lam and customers.
• Serve as a Lam subject-matter expert to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Update customers on tool status and service opportunities.
