Job summary

Actus Consulting Group seeks a Field Service Engineer II for Phoenix/Chandler, AZ, to handle field service calls, on-site maintenance, and customer training.

Relocation support is provided; ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant experience and may benefit from Japanese language skills.

The role requires travel, including occasional trips to Japan for product training; a strong focus on reliability and customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Technical troubleshooting experience.
• Semiconductor FSE experience preferred.
• Japanese language skills a plus.
• Training: 6+ months of domestic/international training before stationed in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Receives service calls from customer and responds accordingly.
• May provide over-the-phone consultation and advice to customer; may schedule and repair at customer site.
• Performs preventative maintenance on Company products.
• Establishes and manages a local maintenance service structure.
• Inspects and evaluates customer usage of Company products.
• Provides training to customers in usage and maintenance of Company products.
• Provides application support on Company products to customer.
• Provides liaison between customer and applications programmer for customer requests involving change in applications.
