Job summary

Acuative Corporation seeks a Data Center & Route Switch Field Service Technician to install and maintain networking hardware, routers, switches, and related systems across multiple sites. The role includes paid training, a company vehicle, and opportunities for overtime, with travel to various customer sites.

You will lift up to 50 pounds, work from Monday to Friday with occasional after-hours callouts, and must have a valid driver's license and Covid-19 vaccination.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of networking hardware and topologies.
• Familiarity with Cisco networking products and CLI.
• Understanding of telephony systems (VOIP, PBX) with hands-on support.
• Knowledge of computing hardware with break/fix capability.
• Ability to install diverse hardware including routers, switches, POS, and cameras.
• Ability to configure platforms via console/remote access.
• Travel willingness to meet SLAs; occasional after-hours work.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Install and support POS, digital signage, and video surveillance systems.
• Perform circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys and site audits.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and related cabling.
• Install Fixed Wireless antennas and cabling.
• Submit all job documents accurately and on time.
• Maintain company vehicle, inventory, and tools per standards.
