Job summary

Waters Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a Field Service Specialist II to install, calibrate and service TA Instruments' scientific instrumentation across multiple labs. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, train customers and document activities.

The role requires an Associate degree in a science field (Bachelor's preferred) and 0-2 years of instrument service experience; a clean driving license and passport may be needed for travel within the territory.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or other science related field.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service, training, diagnoses and troubleshoots customer problems; assists with parts management issues.
  • Repairs, installs, and uses all currently supported instrument models and accessories; calibrates instruments for efficient performance.
  • Prepares reports and documentation of service and repair activities; maintains manuals and service notes for efficiency.
  • Documents work progress and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Maintains prompt professional communications with customers and internal resources.
  • Gives information on service products and contracts to customers.
