Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer I to install, repair and maintain mass spectrometers and related analytical equipment across internal and external sites. The role covers MN, ND, SD, IA and WI with potential remote work arrangements and up to 50% travel.

The ideal candidate holds anAssociate's/Bachelor's in Life Sciences or Engineering, LCMS/capillary electrophoresis experience, and meets vendor credentialing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.S./A.A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience
• LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis experience required; servicing mass spectrometry or instrumentation
• Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mass spectrometers, HPLC and/or capillary electrophoresis instrumentation
• Travel up to 50% domestically/internationally
• Mentor and develop less experienced staff
• Complete administration duties (service logs, expense reporting, inventory)
