Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, upgrade, start-up, maintain and operate Honeywell automation control systems across multiple customer sites in the western and midwestern United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 1+ year in engineering/technical field or military electronics experience.
• Valid driver’s license; travel up to 60% depending on site activity.
• Commitment of 18 months to obtain/maintain L3 CEAT (QCS L3) certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand 8 hours daily.
• 1+ year experience with system installation, configuration and maintenance.
• 1+ year experience using diagnostic tools and software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing professionalism.

Responsibilities

• 40% on-site coverage at a key customer site.
• 60% travel to multiple customer locations for technical support, maintenance, installation and commissioning.
• Provide ongoing support for Honeywell control systems; troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Document work performed at customer facilities and project staging areas.
• Prepare monthly reports using Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Review product prints and specifications; ensure safety and quality standards.
