Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to support on-site installation, upgrades, start-up, maintenance and operation of automation control systems and software applications.

The role includes 60% travel to customer sites and 40% on-site coverage at key sites, with on-call standby and direct interaction with customers. Qualifications

• High School Diploma; ability to travel up to 60% depending on site activity.
• 1 year of tech/engineering experience or military electronics background.
• Proficiency with basic Windows OS and MS Office.
• Ability to install/configure/maintain systems and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, upgrades, startup, maintenance and operation of control systems.
• Roaming to multiple customer locations to provide technical support and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Mentor peers and retain high quality talent; update antivirus and Windows OS.
• Prepare monthly reports and review product prints/specifications.
• Communicate with plant operators, management and vendors; collaborate with TAC.
