Job summary

Honeywell’s Field Service Technicians install, upgrade, start-up, maintain, and troubleshoot automation control systems and software applications at customer sites. You will roam between sites, perform diagnostics, and ensure operations meet safety standards.

The role emphasizes strong customer interaction, documentation, and collaboration with Honeywell’s Global Technical Assistance Center. Expect on-call duties and travel across the west and mid-west regions.

Qualifications

• Background checks and drug testing clearance.
• 1+ year in engineering or technical field or military electronics experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site maintenance, upgrades, start-ups, and troubleshooting.
• Roaming engineer delivering technical support across multiple sites.
• Document work, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with Global Technical Assistance Center to implement solutions.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and stand-by/on-call duties.
