Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, upgrade, and maintain Honeywell automation control systems and software on customer sites across the region. The role emphasizes on‑site support, remote diagnostics, and proactive maintenance with 60% travel to various customer locations.

You will report to the Field Service Manager and contribute to continuous improvement within a fast-paced industrial setting, while upholding Honeywell safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional engineering/technical field experience or Military electronics background.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time based on local sites.
• Commitment of 18 months to obtain L3 CEAT (QCS L3) certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• 40% onsite coverage at a key customer site; Toledo, Oregon region.
• 60% roaming engineer; travel to multiple customer locations for support, maintenance, and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware/software issues on Honeywell control systems.
• Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide on‑site pre‑start, start‑up, service, and training of Honeywell products.
