Segra is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage day-to-day network activities, including installation, commissioning, and turn-up of telecom equipment in Northern WV. The role requires frequent collaboration with customers and service technicians to ensure reliable transport and data networks.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of telecom equipment experience, familiarity with Cisco/Ciena gear, and the ability to work independently while on-site in Morgantown/Clarksburg/Fairmont WV.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with telecom equipment.
• Knowledge of telecom equipment such as Cisco or Ciena.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment; perform circuit/node turn-up and testing.
• Troubleshoot transport, switching, and IP/data networks; on-call duties as required.
• Interact with customers and field technicians to resolve issues.
