Job summary

Turbine Air Systems, Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking a Field Engineer III to support commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of mechanical and electrical systems on projects.

You will travel extensively, read drawings, and collaborate with project teams, QA, and clients; experience with VFDs, PLCs, and building controls is preferred; HVAC trade/ apprenticeship background encouraged.

Qualifications

• Significant field project experience in construction support, startup, repair and maintenance.
• Experience with startup and troubleshooting of VFDs (Eaton & Allen-Bradley) and associated controls.
• Ability to travel extensively to domestic and international job sites; capable of field construction conditions.

Responsibilities

• Startup, preventive maintenance, and service of pumps and cooling systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and service power distribution, motors, MCCs, and VFDs.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers/Managers, QA and client personnel; compile O&M data and IOM material.
