Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour, DOE

We are seeking Field Service Engineers to support nationwide customers.

*Must be willing to travel to Japan 1-3 months after hire date to participate in a 2-year training program.*

The Mission of a Field Service Engineer is to install, modify and service complex semiconductor industry high vacuum equipment and systems, as well as evaluate, troubleshoot and resolve design issues related to such installations and servicing of Company products at all types of customer field sites. The role also involves providing a wide range of technical assistance to customers and employees to ensure customer satisfaction and successful completion of work assignments. Part of your mission is to ensure that the business operates in line with the Company goals.

What you'll do

• Perform hands-on field service duties at customer sites, including on-site installations, upgrades, retrofits, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, repairs, and debugging of electronic and mechanical systems. Provide troubleshooting and operational training to customers and colleagues.
• Recommend equipment modifications or process improvements to enhance operation and performance.
• Submit all necessary documentation promptly, including timesheets, expense reports, and service reports, adhering to company policies.
• Maintain technical proficiency and troubleshoot electronic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and software systems. Participate in continuing education as required.
• Contribute to training of less-experienced engineers.
• Handle customer service issues to maintain high satisfaction, including managing orders, complaints, and service inquiries.
