Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in the United States seeks a Field Service Representative to troubleshoot, repair, install, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on Varian Medical Systems equipment. The FSR is the primary contact for customer service and works in a defined field service territory with onsite visits to multiple customer locations.

Applicants should have strong electronics and electro-mechanical knowledge, experience with PC-based systems, and the ability to diagnose imaging system

Qualifications

• HS degree or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose imaging system defects and calibration procedures.
• Familiarity with vendor credentialing and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair designated equipment within an assigned service territory.
• Manage time and scheduling for preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades.
• Elevate incidents when necessary and request escalation to senior staff.
• Document field service activities and maintain reports and credentials.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships at client sites.
