Job summary

Prodways Group, a leader in professional and industrial 3D printing, is seeking an experienced field service engineer to install and commission 3D printers at client sites worldwide. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize equipment remotely and on-site, traveling primarily in the United States and Europe.

Responsibilities include on-site installations, remote diagnostics, and contributing to the improvement of machines and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Technical training consistent with at least two years of post-secondary education.
• Experience in after-sales service in an international setting is preferred.
• Strong skills in electronics, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.

Join Prodways Printers, which designs, manufactures, and markets professional and industrial 3D printers. You’ll help commission and install 3D printers, provide on-site training to customers, and troubleshoot equipment directly at customer locations. Travel to the United States (primarily) and Europe is expected (50 to 80% of the time).

Reporting to :

You will report to the Customer Support Manager.

Your responsibilities :

• Contribute to R&D projects as a field expert ;
• Install our machines on-site ;
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance at our clients’ sites internationally ;
• Occasionally participate in application deployments at our clients’ sites ;
• Perform remote diagnostics and assist our clients in resolving their technical issues ;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the machine and the development of technical documentation.

What we’re looking for :

• Technical training equivalent to at least two years of post-secondary education ;
• Initial experience in after-sales service in an international setting, particularly in the United States ;
• Strong skills in electronics, mechanics, and manufacturing processes ;
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex technical issues ;
• Resourceful and hands‑on, comfortable with mechanical adjustments and on‑site troubleshooting ;
• Technically curious, with a genuine desire to identify the root cause of a problem and find solutions ;
• Good interpersonal skills, a service‑oriented mindset, and a meticulous approach.

Full-time permanent contract, to start as soon as possible. Compensation based on qualifications and experience.
