Job summary
LECO Australia Pty is seeking a Service Technician based in the Eastern United States to support service activities for GC-MS and related instrumentation. The role requires strong communication skills and involves maintenance, repairs, and training on LECO products. Candidates must have a Bachelor degree in physical sciences, unrestricted U.S. work authorization, and knowledge of analytical chemistry. Prior experience in field service or laboratory operations is preferred, with essential skills in MS Office and electronics.
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of hands-on experience with GC/GCxGC-TOFMS or other Separation Science products.
Previous experience in field service or as a laboratory instrument operator is desirable.
Ability to write SOPs and teaching experience is strongly desirable.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and install GC-MS, GCxGC-MS, and GCxGC FID instrumentation.
Fill out service, installation, and related reports promptly and correctly.
Aid in documentation creation/review for new and current instrumentation.
Present technical information regarding hardware and software to customers and LECO staff.
