Job summary

LECO is seeking a proactive Field Service Engineer to join our US team. This full-time, remote-friendly role travels frequently to service analytical and metallographic instruments across the Midwest and surrounding regions, with a preferred base near Louisville, KY.

You will perform preventive maintenance, installations, updates, and training, while ensuring compliance with ISO standards. A two-year technical degree or military/technical training is required, along with a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or trade school required.
• Military with technical training or equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Willingness to travel up to four overnight stays per week.
• Valid driver's license with clean record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex instruments.
• Install new instruments and execute updates and kit implementations.
• Deliver user training on instrument theory, operation, software, and maintenance best practices.
• Ensure all work complies with LECO ISO standards.
