Job summary

EV Group is seeking an experienced engineer for the installation and upgrade of complex semiconductor/electronics production equipment. You will implement customer installation plans for reliability and process qualification, train customer personnel, and ensure satisfaction across global deployments.

The role requires strong electromechanical troubleshooting, advanced PC skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% (domestic and international).

Qualifications

• This position requires an associate degree or bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field or up to four (4) years of experience installing/repairing semiconductor/electronic production equipment.
• Advanced electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement process methods and terminology.
• Ability to identify and solve advanced process-related system problems.
• Strong communication and professionalism given to various levels of management, personnel and customers.
• Must have advanced PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade complex electronic/electromechanical equipment per customer plans.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Provide courteous service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel domestically/internationally up to 75% and operate EVG vehicles as needed.
• Prepare paperwork and maintain equipment logs and records.
• Conduct local customer meetings and communicate professionally by email/phone.
• Troubleshoot hardware/process problems during installation and acceptance tests.
• Report down situations to Installation Coordinator and Management.
