Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our customers across the United States, primarily traveling to sites from New York to California. You will install, train, and troubleshoot fastener manufacturing equipment on-site and remotely, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and reliability.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, electrical understanding, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with hands-on mechanical experience.
• Experience in the fastener industry.
• Bachelor’s or technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Forklift certification is a plus; on-site certification is available.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and commission fastener manufacturing equipment at customer facilities.
• Train customer operators and maintenance staff on proper equipment operation, setup, and routine maintenance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, on-site and remotely.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance.
• Operate a forklift to move, load, and position equipment.
• Document service visits, findings, and recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with customers and communicate feedback to internal teams.
