Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a Field Service Representative to install, repair, and maintain Markem-Imaje equipment. You will troubleshoot field issues and train customers on new systems, ensuring high satisfaction and uptime.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background, 3–5 years of field service experience, and strong customer-focused communication. Occasional travel and a team-oriented environment are expected.

Qualifications

• BA in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 3–5 years field service experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service repair and maintenance to support Markem-Imaje customers.
• Resolve operating issues in the field and troubleshoot as needed.
• Install new equipment, provide training, and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with machine demos, courtesy calls, and follow-up activities with sales.
• Develop technical competency on Markem-Imaje products through study and hands-on use.

The Field Service Representative will be responsible for delivering, installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing equipment.Job Responsibilities:Performing general field service repair and maintenance activities required to support Markem-Imaje customers and installed machine base.Resolving operational issues in the field. Identifying any issues and performing troubleshooting procedures.Determining customer needs and offering recommendations.Contributing to business growth and sustainment through technical involvement, influence, and teamwork.New equipment installations, customer training, emergency and routine repair, contract sales and maintenance and any other service-related activities as directed by management.Determining and recommending which products or services best fit the customers’ needs.Developing and maintaining technical and operational competency on Markem-Imaje products through study, training, hands on use and field exposure to customer applications.
