Job summary

Amada is seeking a Field Service Technician in Buena Park, CA to support customers with Amada Punch Presses and related equipment. Responsibilities include installation, service, and training across punching, brakes and other fabricating machines.

The role requires troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and control systems, plus travel within assigned territories and lifting up to 50 lbs. Excellent English communication and customer relations are essential.

Qualifications

Proficient in trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems and networks.
A 4 yr degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2 yr degree with related work experience preferred.
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Support customers with Amada Punch Presses including installation and service at customer sites.
Provide training on operation, software, and part programming.
Travel within assigned territories with routine overnight stays.
Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
Communicate effectively in English and maintain strong customer relations.
