Job summary

Lam is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our on-site customer support team, delivering installations, startup services, and proactive maintenance of Lam’s semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

You will diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical and electronic systems, perform diagnostics to the component level, minimize downtime, coordinate field modifications with customers, and represent Lam with professionalism to ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/relocation start-up services of Lam's complex electro-mechanical and electronic systems at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot to the component level and minimize downtime.
• Stay up to date on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through learning, training, and certification.
• Assist in complex field modifications and updates, maintaining records to coordinate activities between Lam and the customer.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, representing Lam to our valued customers, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
