Job summary

Landis+Gyr in the United States (Kirkland) is seeking a Field Service Representative I to provide technical service expertise, improve customers’ use of Landis+Gyr solutions, and correct system performance issues through proactive reviews, troubleshooting, and on-site training during installations.

You will assist with installation strategies, communicate changes to customers, prepare detailed trip reports, and support CRM updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year college or university or 2-year degree from a technical institution.
• 2+ years successful performance in a customer service or technical support related position in an electronic technology related field including independent travel and customer contact.
• Experience with utility operations, AMR operations, RF systems is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides secondary support to Company customer service and the customer with system performance issues.
• Assists customers in implementation, operation, training, and problem resolution.
• Responds to customer inquiries in a timely manner and follows through to resolution.
• Conducts proactive system reviews to ensure operation is optimal during implementation or roll-out.
• Completes detailed trip reports and CRM documentation.
• Generates management reports identifying issues to improve service, training and engineering.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
