Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Field Service Representative to join our team near Charlotte, NC. You will support electrical equipment projects, deliver technical solutions to customers, and perform advanced engineering tasks across power systems.

You may work with test equipment, protective relays, and power quality measurements. Travel within the district may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential. Company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years electrical/mechanical industry experience, or trade school with 5+ years in electrical distribution/control systems
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in future
• No relocation; reside within 50 miles of Charlotte NC; military candidates exempt from area limit

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering assignments involving equipment design, testing or research investigations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements, disaster recovery, rotating machinery, protection & control design.
• Generate timely service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
