Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Field Service Representative for our ES AMER ESS division, located out of Rockville, MD. The role offers a defined salary range and travel requirements to support electrical distribution and control systems across customer sites.

Responsibilities include performing engineering tasks, delivering technical solutions, and generating service reports. Candidates should have 2+ years of electrical/mechanical experience and a valid driver's license, with preferred engineering

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years electrical or mechanical industry experience, or completion of accredited trade school with 5+ years in servicing electrical distribution or control systems.
• Must be able to work in the US without corporate sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation offered; candidates within 50-mile radius considered; DOT allowed.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform complex engineering assignments related to equipment design, testing, or process studies.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, and Protection & Control Design.
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties.
