Job summary

Roche is seeking an Associate Field Engineering Specialist to travel up to 25% and service Roche equipment for laboratory customers in the Atlanta, GA area. You will install, repair, and maintain diagnostics instruments while providing expert technical support and fostering strong customer relationships.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical training, with 2 years of experience in mechanical/electronic repairs or networking. A 4-year engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience repairing or servicing mechanical and/or electronic equipment.
• Experience with hardware and software repairs or networking/wireless networking.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair Roche Diagnostics equipment as required.
• Provide routine technical support and operator troubleshooting for customers.
• Identify issues and escalate complex problems when needed.
• Document service reports and customer communications promptly and accurately.
• Promote service contracts and opportunities to maximize customer satisfaction.
