Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support local customers with 24/7 data center maintenance. You will diagnose hardware, storage, and SAN systems on-site within a 120-mile radius, using remote tools for diagnostics and coordinating with our support center.

The role requires driving, lifting up to 50 lbs, and participating in after-hours on-call rotations. Responsibilities include parts determination, inventory management, and timely communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with OEM data center hardware.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and problem analysis.
• Willingness for after-hours on-call rotation.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform varied physical tasks.
• Ability to pass background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite system diagnostic and analysis support within geographic territory.
• Respond to customer system failures with hardware testing and diagnostics.
• Analyze logs and configurations to repair data center hardware and storage systems.
• Use remote tools for diagnostics and remote configuration changes.
• Maintain communication with customers and support center during repairs.
• Ensure timely parts identification and inventory handling per contracts.
