Job summary

TRUMPF is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CNC machines. The role requires 100% nationwide travel, including overnight stays and some international trips.

You will build strong customer relationships while ensuring equipment operates within tolerance and providing on-site training. Qualified candidates have an associate degree or technical training in engineering principles, plus experience with electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Associates program or technical school degree in Engineering principles or a suitable combination of education and work experience.
• Experience in computer software, file management, electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful.
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines.
• Work closely with customers and machines to ensure equipment operates within expected tolerance.
• Provide onsite training to customers for operation and/or repair of machines.
• Submit organized and helpful service reports for each repair mission.
• Interface with cross functional teams such as applications, sales, engineering, production, etc.
