Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is assisting a client in Charleston, SC to fill a Field Service Engineer position focused on servicing DMG MORI CNC machine tools on site and by phone. You will troubleshoot, install, repair, and document activity while delivering excellent service.

You should have 3–5 years of electrical/mechanical experience, familiarity with DMG MORI, FANUC, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controls, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to support customers and teams.

Qualifications

As a Field Service Engineer-Philly, you will be part of the technical support department supporting customer service and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$83,000 - $115,000

What's the Job?

• Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of DMG MORI CNC machine tools on location or by telephone.
• Create and update documentation of technical information and generate reports related to service activities.
• Assist and train Customer’s Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines.
• Establish and maintain exemplary communication and customer service relationships with clients.
• Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit feedback to improve service quality.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma, GED, or Associate Degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
• Experience working with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
