Job summary

Gatorbio is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support technical equipment and systems for Gator Bio’s research clientele. You'll perform installations, repairs, and maintenance for BLI instrumentation, ensuring high performance and minimizing downtime.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in a relevant field and at least three years of hands-on experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing schedules are essential. This role involves significant travel, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of hands-on experience with instrumentation service.
• Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ is a plus.
• Ability to travel 50-75%, both domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Manage, perform, and document on-site installation, repair, calibration, and maintenance of BLI instrumentation.
• Diagnose and implement solutions for technical/mechanical problems.
• Provide customer support via telephone, email, or visits.

Skills

Troubleshooting technical and mechanical equipment

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Basic wet lab skills

Education

BS in bioengineering, engineering, optical engineering, or related field
