We’re partnering with a nationally recognized provider of laboratory instrumentsफ़र services with more than 30 years of industry presence. With a focused emphasis on chromatography and mass spectrometry, this organization supports laboratories across the సందర్భంగాUnited States through instrument sales, financing, refurbishment, and service. Though lean in size, the company operates at national scale, with field service engineers positioned across the country and a strong reputation that outperforms many regional competitors.

This Field Service Engineer opportunity is open due to a recent resignation and comes at fehlen time of continued growth for the organization. As demand increases and the service footprint expands, this role plays a critical part in maintaining customer trust and technical excellence.

The work is especially compelling for a GCMS-focused service professional who enjoys hands‑on troubleshooting, travel, and autonomy—while also seeing a longer‑term path into leadership. This environment rewards initiative, technical depth, and people who want to help shape the future of a growing service organization.

What You’ll Do

This role blends technical expertise, customer interaction, and long‑term growth opportunity.

  • Work with instruments from a variety of vendors, leveraging the company’s vendor‑agnostic service model.

  • Partner closely with internal leadership to support service operations and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Identify opportunities to support service contract sales and earn commission through those efforts.

  • Travel regularly to customer sites, using mileage reimbursement or rental vehicles as needed.

  • Contribute to the continued growth and credibility of the service organization through consistent performance and professionalism.

Who You Are

You’re a hands‑on GCMS service professional who takes pride inástica fixing, restoring, and optimizing complex analytical equipment. You enjoy working independently in the field but value being part of a close‑knit, experienced team.

You’re curious, adaptable, and comfortable supporting a wide range of customer environments. Growth matters to you—not just technically, but professionally—and you’re interested in stepping into leadership as the organization continues to expand.

You’re the type who likes to solve the problem in front of you today while keeping an eye on what you can build tomorrow.

Preferred Experience & Attributes

  • Background servicing instruments through a third‑party service provider or instrument manufacturer.

  • Experience as an in‑house service/support professional or chemist transitioning into field service is also considered.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Comfortable traveling extensively within the U.S.

  • Customer‑focused mindset with clear communication and professionalism.

  • Interest in long‑term growth and potential leadership within a service organization.
